UJIEC Marks End of SADAA Project

The University of Jordan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (UJCIEC) on Monday held a ceremony to mark the end of SADAA Project, a youth-targeted project aimed at combating extremism and terrorism.

 

The project, which offers a platform to combat extremism and terrorism, held a short-video and article competition.

 

University and grade school students produced inspirational and eye-opening short films on topics related to tolerance, coexistence, moderation, humanity, peace, security, safety, and diverse representations of religion.

 

The closing ceremony was held under the patronage of UJ President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah and included screening of all participating films.


 
As for the winning films, a film titled 'Religious Coexistence' has won third place, a film named 'Unity' got the second place, and the first place went to the film 'Al-Rabi Al-Karawi'.

 

At the end of the ceremony, president Mahafzah honored the winning students (Ali Khalifa, Yara Abu Salah, Moutasim Al Shish and Hala Abu Zayna), and the Jury (Dr. Ayman Tayseer, Dr. Majd Al-Qasas, Dr. Magda Omar, Alaa Hamdan, and Dr. Ashraf Bani Mohammed).
