UJ Participates in Pocket Gamer Connects Jordan 2022

The University of Jordan (UJ) has participated in the activities of the international games industry conference, Pocket Gamer Connects 2022, hosted by King Abdullah II Fund for Development, as part of the 11th Electronic Games Industry Summit, which was held recently in Dead Sea.
 
30 students from King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, and Arts and Business schools, represented UJ in the event, accompanied by a number of faculty members from the King Abdullah II School, as well as the School of Engineering.
 
The student team was formed under the umbrella of King Abdullah II School of Information Technology under the name "Dimensions".
 
Moreover, team "Dimensions" is involved in the game design and development field, and is also developing a number of mobile games that will be launched soon.
 
Over 700 delegates involved in the electronic games industry, including developers, workers and international companies, participated in the two-day conference, in partnership with the British company Steel Media.
 
Furthermore, the conference has attracted more than 100 guest speakers from top games companies to exchange knowledge, ideas and latest innovations in the field.
It's worth mentioning that the Jordan Gaming Lab was established at the initiative of His Majesty King Abdullah II. It has provided direct and indirect opportunities, activities, and trainings to over 26,716 individuals.
