The University of Jordan (UJ) Board of Trustees on Thursday, September 28, decided, upon the recommendation of UJ President Prof. Abdel-Karim Al-Qudah, to effect major reshuffle at the level of school deans.

The reshuffle included the appointment of all of Prof. Fayez Haddad as Dean of the School of Business, Prof. Fuad Kittaneh as Dean of the School of Science, Prof. Adnan Al Assaf as Dean of the School of Sharia, Prof. Islam Massad as Dean of School of Medicine, Prof. Hani Soub as Dean of the School of Agriculture, Prof. Saleh Rawadieh as Dean of the School of Educational Sciences, Prof. Ali Abu Ghanimeh as Dean of the School of Engineering, and Dr. Ahmad Oweidi as Dean of the School of Law.

The Board also decided to appoint Prof. Abla Bsoul as Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Prof. Ziad Hawamdeh as Dean of the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, Prof. Amjad Hudaib as Dean of King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, Prof. Mohammed Qatatsheh as Dean of Prince Al Hussien Bin Abdullah II School International Studies, Dr. Turki Bani-Khaled as Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, and Dr. Mannar Nabulsi as Dean of the School of Nursing. 

Furthermore, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Abbadi has been appointed Dean of Scientific Research and Quality Assurance, while Prof. Khalid Al-Attiyat continues as Dean of Student Affairs.

Moreover, UJ's Board of Trustees decided to re-appoint all of Prof. Mohammed Qudah as Dean of the School of Arts; Dr. Ahmed Hamdan as Dean of the School of Dentistry; Prof. Hashim Ibrahim as Dean of the School of Physical Education; Dr. Rami Haddad as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design; Prof. Mohammad Al-Shuraida as Dean of the School of Graduate Studies; and Dr. Nada Rawabdeh as as Dean of the School of Archeology and Tourism.

With respect to the Aqaba branch, Dr. Basil Zboun has been appointed as Acting Dean of the School of Languages, Dr. Raed Bani Yaseen as Acting Dean of the School of Management and Finance, Dr. Omar Jawabreh as Acting Dean of the School of Tourism and Hospitality, Dr. Abdullah Al Haj as Acting Dean of the School of Information Technology and Systems, and Dr. Marouf Khalaf as Dean of the School of Marine Sciences.
