The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Jordan (UJ) will be hosting the local edition of Hult Prize competition.

Rousl Sardy, a student from the School of Pharmacy who participated in a previous session, will be heading the 'On Campus' Program of the competition. She hopes that her colleagues will reach the final stages of the competition.

This competition, which is held in partnership with the United Nations, aims to refine student skills to develop entrepreneur projects, and to find solutions for problems and challenges that face human societies. The competition offers a million dollar for the team that offers the best solution to solve one of the toughest social problems of the world.

The winner of the competition will automatically compete in one of 15 regional finals occurring around the world.

The winning team will then move from each host city to the summer business accelerator, where all participants will receive guidance, advice and strategic planning for their businesses until the final round of competition is held in September. The winning team will receive $1 million in start-up funding.
