UJ American Corner kicks off its 2019-20 Cultural Season

The University of Jordan (UJ) Library on Sunday, September 29, marked the beginning of a new cultural season at the University of Jordan American Corner which is located at the Library.

 

UJ President Prof.  Abdul Karim Al-Qudah patronized the event in the presence of the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Amman Mike Hankey and Vice President of the University Prof. Ahmad Majdoubeh.

 

The new season's agenda includes a selection of events, seminars and workshops on the use of technology in English language learning, how to acquire information through the internet, student exchange opportunities, and on how to apply to study in the US.


The agenda also includes awareness lectures, debates, and dialogue sessions with notable guest speakers.


 
The UJ American Corner is located at the University's main library.  It is equipped with modern equipment and multimedia materials, and aims to provide information about the political, economic, cultural, educational and social life in the US, and conduct educational and cultural programs, and promote interaction with alumni of U.S. universities and U.S. government exchange programs.
