The 2020 edition of the Times Higher Education World University Ranking has been released on Tuesday. According to the new edition, the University of Jordan (UJ) ranked first in Jordan and within the category (201-250) globally in the computer science subject.
Moreover, UJ topped Jordan's HE institutions in the field of engineering and technology, ranking (401-500) globally.
The list shows that the university remains the only university in Jordan to enter the ranking in the fields of life and social sciences for the second year in a row.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020 includes almost 1,400 universities across 92 countries. The ranking uses 13 performance indicators including teaching, research, industry engagement, and income.
