UJ Faculty Member Wins 2020 EDAMBA Doctoral Thesis Competition

Dr. Rima Al-Hassan from the School of Business at the University of Jordan (UJ) has won the first place of an international competition organized by the European Doctoral Association in Management and Business Administration (EDAMBA).

 

Al-Hassan obtained first place of the 2020 EDAMBA Doctoral Thesis Competition for her PhD thesis titled: "Exploring the interplay between process improvement approaches and product innovation", submitted to Warwick University in the United Kingdom.

 

EDAMBA supports scientific research and doctoral theses in the field of business administration. It comprises several prestigious universities from 27 countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, United States, Sweden, China, Switzerland, and Germany.

 

The Association annually organizes a competition to recognize the best PhD thesis in field from among the participating universities in the Association, where the evaluation is objectively based on the contribution of the research and its methodology.
