In response to what has been published by a local news website claiming that the performance of the University's network connection is suffering due to the fact that the university's computer and e-mail systems are outdated, kindly note the following:

The Internet speed at the University is the highest among Jordanian universities.

The e-mail service at the University is a provided using a Microsoft cloud computing platform.

Our information security policies prevent receiving a large sum of emails at one time. Also, the Ministry did not coordinate with us in advance in this regard.

The settings were modified to solve the problem on the morning of August 25th, after which, the questionnaire was successfully sent by the ministry at 1PM, reaching 1215 faculty members at the University.

Finally, as we further confirm that the published information is inaccurate; we assure that the computer systems at the University of Jordan are not outdated and do not suffer from difficulties. The delay in the arrival of the questionnaire via e-mail is due to a technical issue on the part of the Ministry.
