For the fourth time, the University of Jordan (UJ) Hospital has been recently granted the international accreditation and certification of the Joint Commission International (JCI), for a period of 3 years.
This came after an evaluation period from June13 to June17 that was conducted remotely this year due to the exceptional circumstances forced by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
UJ Hospital General Director Prof. Islam Massad noted that obtaining this certificate comes after applying more than 1,000 criterions, as a basic and sub-requirements at the level of quality of health care provided to the patient, management of health institutions, medical education and scientific research.
