Under the patronage of the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Yahya Al-Kasabi, the Center for Consultation and Training Center at the University of Jordan (UJ) organized in cooperation with the Jordanian-Italian Center for Public Safety, Rehabilitation and Training (JIC) a ceremony to graduate the participants of the first public safety and occupational health training program in presence of UJ President Prof. Nathir Obeidat, and the Italian Ambassador in Amman Fabio Cassese.
The event was attended by UJ Vice President for International Affairs and Quality, Professor Zaid Eyadat, Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) President Ahmed Al-Zoubi, Jordanian Construction Contractors Association President Ahmed Yaqoub, and Head of the Technical &Vocational Skills Development Commission, Dr. Qais Al-Safasfah.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, a memorandum of understanding was signed to develop joint cooperation between UJ and the Building Center for Training and Safety of Perugia (CESF) and the Jordanian-Italian Center for Public Safety, Rehabilitation, and Training in the field of training in the public safety, traffic safety.
The MoU, signed by UJ President, CESF President, and JIC Director will seek to enhance the knowledge of students and graduates who will work in the construction and infrastructure sector and develop their capacities in the field of public safety.
The ceremony was also attended by CESF Director, Gubbio Municipality Mayor, Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) in Jordan Emilio Cabasino, and the Italian Trade Commission Director Filippo Covino.
