Ceremony Held at UJ to Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday

Under the patronage of the Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Dr. Mohammad Khalaileh, the Islamic Cultural Center at the University of Jordan (UJ) on Tuesday, November 16, held a ceremony on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

AL-Khalaileh delivered a public speech about the Prophet's morals and infinite patience with the people during his call for the religion of mercy and peace.

From his part, Grand Mufti of Jordan, Sheikh Abdul Karim Khasawneh, in his address referred to the role of Muslims in fighting sedition.

Chief Justice, Sheikh Abdul-Hafiz Al-Rabtah, drew attention to the love and respect AL-Sahaba (Companions of the Prophet) and the whole nation had for our beloved Prophet (pbuh).
The Royal Hashemite Court Imam, Ahmad Khalaileh, spoke about the importance of following the example of the Prophet (pbuh) and how the Qur'an magnified the status of the Messenger of God (pbuh).

In his speech, The Islamic Cultural Center Director, Dr. Mahmoud Shdefat, spoke about the Prophet's status between prophets and messengers. He also touched on the role of His Majesty King Abdullah II in confirming the values of tolerance.
