UJ, Children's Museum Jordan Sign Cooperation Agreement

The University of Jordan (UJ), represented by the Local Community Networking and Development Center, and the Children's Museum Jordan signed a joint cooperation agreement in the field of community service.

 

The agreement was signed by UJ Vice President for Humanities Schools, Prof. Salameh Naimat, and the General Director of the Museum, Sawsan Al-Dalq.

 

The signing ceremony was attended by the Director of the Local Community Networking and Development Center, Dr. Jumana Al-Zoubi; Deputy Director-General of the Children’s Museum Jordan, Laith Fathallah Al-Sous; and Director of Human and Administrative Resources at the Museum, Sama Tawfiq Al-Damour.


The agreement aims to provide volunteer opportunities to the student community, train and raise their capacities in the areas of community service.


Under the agreement, volunteer students wishing to serve the community will be trained to obtain necessary skills and provided with accredited community service opportunities. The parties will also organize joint campaigns, and community service programs.


The Children’s Museum Jordan is non-formal learning organization that applies the learning through play pedagogy. was established through the vision of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah to provide Jordan’s future generations with a space for interactive learning.
