UJ Faculty Awarded Venus International Research Award 2023

University of Jordan (UJ) faculty, Dr. Huda Al-Hajjaj, has been awarded the 9th Venus International Research Award (VIFRA 2023), particularly the Distinguished Scientist Award in Social Work, held by the Venus International Foundation in the Indian city of Chennai.


Al-Hajjaj who is a faculty at the Department of Social Work at the School of Arts, spoke during the awarding ceremony about social work in Jordan, pointing out the importance of the award, which highlights research excellence in the field of school or family social work.


She also addressed volunteer work in Jordan, stressing the importance of field training for social work students.


The Venus International Foundation Research Awards (India) annually celebrates the creative minds of the world by recognizing researchers who are committed to find solutions to the daunting challenges.
