The University of Jordan (UJ) and Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) on Thursday, October 6, signed a memorandum of understanding on academic cooperation and exchange.
The Memorandum was signed by Prof Azmi Mahafzah, UJ President, and Dr. Amer Ahmad Sharif, Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Healthcare City Authority – Education Sector, the authority which oversees MBRU.
The MoU stems from both parties' desire to establish collaboration that will push forward academic progress and provide benefits for both sides.
Under this MoU, the two universities will develop a framework of collaboration in scientific areas and in exchanges of researchers, faculty and students.
The signing ceremony was attended by Vice-president Prof. Omar Kafawin, Director-General of Jordan University Hospital Dr. Abdul Aziz Zyadat, School of Medicine Dean Prof. Nathir Obeidat, School of Dentistry Dean Prof. Zaid Baqain, Director of Office of International Relations Dr. Rami Ali, and School of Nursing Deputy Dean Dr. Mohammed Saleh.
