The University of Jordan (UJ) and the University of Science and Technology (UST) in Yemen on Monday signed a joint academic and scientific cooperation agreement.
The agreement was signed by UJ President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah and UST President Prof. Hameed Mohammed Aklan.
The agreement will ensure mutual cooperation that will contribute to achieving the educational mission of both institutions.
Cooperation will include the implementation of academic programs, facilitating the use of educational facilities at UJ and sharing expertise.
Before signing the agreement, Mahafzah confirmed UJ's keenness to develop joint collaboration with UST and other Arab universities.
In turn, Aklan commended UJ's status among its peers in the region and its efforts to provide a safe learning environment for Yemeni students.
