The University of Jordan (UJ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Modern College of Commerce and Science of Oman to develop joint academic cooperation.
The MoU was signed by UJ President Prof. Azmi Mahafza and the College's Dean Prof. Ahmed Al-Naamany.
The MoU aims at establishing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including the exchange of faculty members and the establishment of joint scientific projects and conferences, while the University oversees the development of study plans and the establishment of programs.
On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Prof. Mahafzah discussed with Prof. Al-Naamany a number of issues of common interest and aspects of cooperation.
Prof. Mahafzah briefed the guest on UJ's schools and academic programs, particularly programs conducted jointly with partner universities.
For his part, Prof. Al-Naamany commended UJ's continuous efforts which contribute to the development of education in the local and Arab communities, as well as the achievement of advanced positions on Arab and global rankings.
