UJ, Selcuk University Sign Cooperation Agreement

The University of Jordan (UJ) and Selcuk University of Turkey on Tuesday signed an academic cooperation agreement for the purposes of education, research and training.
 
The agreement was signed by UJ President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah and Selcuk University President Prof. Mustafa Sahin.  
 
The agreement calls for the mutual exchange of faculty, staff, and students; joint research projects; and the exchange of academic publications.
 
During the signing ceremony, the two sides affirmed a common vision to deepen reciprocal cooperation in several fields.
 
Mahafzah briefed the guest about UJ's schools, facilities, and graduate and undergraduate degrees.
 
Sahin, for his part, expressed keenness to establish bonds of cooperation with UJ, particularly in the medical, language and Islamic studies fields.
 
Founded in 1971 in the city of Konya, Selcuk University is a comprehensive public university with approximately 70 thousand students.
