The University of Jordan (UJ) and Shenyang Normal University, China, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Monday, September 24.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Academic Cooperation confirms the two parties' desire to develop and promote joint academic cooperation in various fields.
The MoU was signed by UJ President Professor Abdel-Karim Al-Qudah and Secretary of Party Committee of Shenyang Normal University Professor Jia Yuming.
The agreement, signed in cooperation with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute, forms a framework for collaborative academic activities between the two institutions, including exchange academic staff, joint research activities, participation in joint meetings, and exchange of academic information and materials.
Following the signing, Al-Qudah pointed out that 31 Chinese students are studying Arabic at the University of Jordan Language Center this semester, in addition to 194 Chinese students who are fully enrolled at UJ.
