Hungarian Ambassador Visits UJ

The Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan Csaba Czibere, and an accompanying delegation visited the University of Jordan (UJ) and looked into means of promoting cooperation between the two parties in various fields such as scientific and cultural fields, and the possibility to increase the number of Hungarian students in the University.


UJ President Prof. Abdel-Karim Al-Qudah expressed the University’s desire in continuing the cooperation with the Hungarian Embassy in various aspects. He also briefly talked about the University’s schools and its foreign languages programs pointing to the possibility of adding the Hungarian language to the program.


In turn, Czibere praised the University’s academic, scientific, and research levels. He reviewed the most important developments related to the joint cooperation with the University which started four years ago. He also expressed his thanks and happiness for the attention given by the University to the eight Hungarian students studying in the University.


The meeting was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jarrah, Director of the International Affairs Unit at the University of Jordan and Director of International Relations, Shira Mahasneh.
