UJ President Meets with a Romanian Medical Delegation

The president of the University of Jordan, Prof. Abdelkarim Alqudah met, with the Romanian Medical Delegation headed by The Romanian Minister Dr. Lucian Georgescu. The delegation is attending the Romanian-Jordanian Congress of Medicine and Pharmacy (CORIMF), organized by the Association of Doctors Graduated from Romania, in the Jordan Medical Association under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Muna al-Hussein.

Alqudah expressed the importance of expanding cooperation between UJ and Romanian universities through the Romanian Embassy, emphasizing the need to activate cultural, academic, student and research exchange programs between the two sides in various fields and disciplines.
The Romanian Ambassador Nicolae Comănescu highlighted the deep ties between Jordan and Romania, pointing out that these ties are increasing due to the efforts of both Countries’ leaders.
 
He praised the development of Jordan's higher education institutions, stressing his country's keenness to promote bilateral cooperation with Jordan during the coming period and increase the number of Romanian students in the Jordanian universities.

Prof. Ahmed Majdouba, Vice President for Humanities Faculties Affairs, and Vice President for Scientific Faculties Affairs, Prof. Zaid Beqaeen, talked about the programs offered by the various Schools, pointing out the international accreditation certificates obtained by the Schools.
