Lithuanian Academic Natalija Lepkova Lectures at UJ

Lithuanian professes of Civil Engineering Dr. Natalija Lepkova visited the University of Jordan (UJ) during the period 16-21 November 2019 and delivered a number of lectures at the Department of Civil Engineering  of the School of Engineering.

Lepkova, who is an Associate Professor at the Department of Construction Management and Real Estate at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU), lectured on Facilities Management and Application of Modern Technologies; Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Experience in Lithuania; and Quality Management Systems.
The guest lecturer also introduced Vilnius Gediminas Technical University during the lectures, where UJ students showed interest in Erasmus + exchange opportunities at VGTU and postgraduate studies and opportunities for internships.

During her visit, Lepkova held a meeting with the Dean of the School of Engineering Dr. Ali Abu Ghanimeh and the Chairman of the Department of Civil Engineering Dr. Naseem Al Shatarat.  Possibilities for further cooperation were discussed, including possible student and teacher exchanges, joint publications and participation in conferences.

A campus excursion was also organized during the visit, as well as a visit to the university's Labs and Library.
