The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the University of Jordan on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding aimed to enhance cooperation in earthquake studies, notably assessment of earthquake hazard and risk, according to a ministry statement.

Energy Minister Hala Zawati and President of the University of Jordan Abdul Karim Qudah signed the memo.
