Dean of the School of Foreign Language (SFL), Prof. Yousef Abu  Amrieh received in office on Thursday the Director of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Amman, Alex Bukin to explore issues related to future cooperation between the sides.

The meeting also tackled the possibility of supporting the Russian Corner with new equipment and providing academic exchange grants to students & staff members.

Bukin, in turn, expressed his full support to SFL's plan to air a radio episode on Russian language & culture as part of a series that SFL intends to launch in cooperation with UJ Radio.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Dean of the School of Foreign Languages Dr. Dima Ammari, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs Dr. Dina Salman, Assistant Dean for International Relations Israa Mobaideen, Chair of Asian Languages Department Dr. Bagdagul Musa, and Coordinator of the Russian Section at the Asian Languages Department Dr. Tatyana Nikolai.
