The University of Jordan (UJ) Vice President for Scientific Schools Prof. Kifah Jamani met with the Cultural Attaché of the Hungarian Embassy Regina Surányi in Amman to discuss avenues of cooperation.
The two sides discussed means of cooperation between UJ and the Hungarian universities in the fields of scholarships, teaching staff and student exchanges, as well as the possibility of developing joint academic programs.
AL-Jamani appreciated the efforts of the staff of the Embassy and the Hungarian Government in providing a comfortable and safe study environment for Jordanian students studying at Hungarian universities. She also noted the importance of the Hungarian corner, which had been equipped at the UJ Library.
In turn, Surányi expressed pleasure to visit the university, lauding its prestigious academic reputation in the region and the world. She also expressed keenness to strengthening cooperation between JU and higher education institutions in Hungary.
