The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Nathir Obeidat, examined in a meeting with QS Regional Director for the Middle East and Africa, Dr.Ashun Fernandes, and QS-accredited ranking specialist Dr. Anas Al-Saud, ways to strengthen the university's position in QS university rankings.

Obeidat expressed interest in stronger relationship with the institution as one of the most important global rankings, and touched on ways to strengthen the university's position in the world rankings, particularly with regards to enhancing the university's assessment results in indicators related to the institutional research output and ratio of international faculty.

The university's endeavor to achieve excellence in all of the rankings, and the progress it has made in this field was also reviewed during the meeting in presence of the Vice President for Scientific Schools Prof .Kifah Jamani, Vice President for Humanities Faculties Prof .Ahmad Majdoubeh, President Assistant for the International Program and Marketing Affairs Dr. Zaid Obeidat, and Director of Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center Prof. Menwer Attarakih.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Fernandez handed over to President Obeidat the five-star certificate that the university had achieved in the QS Stars Online Learning assessment in July.
