The University of Jordan teams have won the 3 first round matches of the 13th Winter Sports Championship for Jordanian Universities.

 

The 13th Winter Sports Championship matches will go on in the city of Aqaba until next Monday.

 

The Championship is organized by the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities on the occasion of the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein.

 

The football competition is held at Al Itihad School stadium, while the badminton/ladies tournament is held at Prince Raad Ball.

 

UJ has won 2-1 against Princess Sumaya University, 3-0 against Mutah University, and 3-0 against Zarqa Private University in the badminton/ladies first round matches.
