A Google event at the Faculty of Engineering
The University of Jordan (UJ) is determined to extend cooperation between Google Company and all of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and King Abdullah II School for Information Technology (KASIT), according to UJ president Prof. Ekhleif Tarawneh.

This came during the president’s visit to an exhibition held by Google Student Ambassadors at the university in collaboration with their counterparts in other Jordanian universities.

Commending the students’ for holding such a fruitful activity, Tarawneh said the ambassadors provide useful information concerning services provided by Google.

The activity aims to educate students about innovative Google products and programs and how to use them efficiently in their personal and practical lives.

Prof. Mahmoud Hammad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, expressed pride in the students who organized the event, stressing that the faculty is devoted to graduating competent engineers.

The exhibition, which is supported by Cloudsoft Company for Training, includes a group of Google student ambassadors from various Jordanian universities.

UJ’s Google Student Ambassadors are student Shaima Kaff from the Department of Computer Engineering, and Muhammad Al Ramiti from the Department of Mechatronics.

Each of the students gave a brief explanation about Google products, its importance and how to utilize them.
