Cultural Spheres: A Message to Campus Community against Violence
The Vice President of The University of Jordan for Training and Community Service, Prof. Musa Al Lozi said the “Cultural Spheres” - a group of cultural events organized and supported by the Media, Cultural and Public Relations Unit - with what it includes of different kinds of creative arts serve as a message for the students against the language of violence.

Al Lozi added, during the opening of a photography and poetry spheres, that the Cultural Spheres allow the discovery of creative students.

Prof. Shtaywy Abdalla, President of Tafila Technical University attended the events, he stated that the cultural activity is part of The University of Jordan’s mission to distribute art and promote creativity outside the conventional methods however maintaining the originality of thoughts and the quality of the creative product.

The photography sphere included a collection of photos entitled ‘winter and Snow’ taken of different parts of the Kingdom during last winter capturing different historical, natural and touristic sceneries. These photos were taken by a number of artists who are all members of the Arab Photographers Association, Jordan Division.

The poets: Eid Al Nsour, Mariam Al Saifi, Sameer Al Quda and Mahmoud Al Nawafleh were part of the university’s celebration of the World Poetry Day; each one presented a collection of poems about the homeland, mothers, the beloved and earth.
