Taiwanese student delegation visits UJ

A delegation consisting of 16 students representing the Youth Ambassadors Program – Taiwan visited The University of Jordan (UJ) on Sunday.

 

The delegation visited UJ to get acquainted with the university’s scientific and academic developments and to strengthen cultural and scientific relations with the university.

 

The delegation was headed by the Representative of the Commercial Office of Taiwan, Matthew Lee. Members of the Commercial Office and the Taiwanese community in Amman also attended.

 

From his part, UJ President Prof. Ekhleif Tarawneh greeted the Taiwanese delegation. Tarawneh commended the level of Taiwanese students studying at UJ, calling them to be their country’s ambassadors to Jordan.

 

The Youth Ambassadors Program 2014 consists of students from various colleges and universities in Taiwan. The program’s activities include the organization of scientific and cultural events aimed at introducing Taiwan.
