UJ and Brigham Young University Discuss Cooperation

The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah on Wednesday received a delegation from the Center for Law and Religion Studies at Brigham Young University Law School.

 

Prof. Mahfzah discussed with the delegation topics of mutual interest as well as cooperation opportunities.

 

The two sides expressed a shared vision for the need to shed light on the relationship between religions and law.

 

Mahfzah said that the university will provide its expertise in this area particularly from the School of Law, as one of the most prominent law schools in the region.

 

Brigham Young University (BYU) is a private research university located in Provo, Utah, United State. It is one of the largest private universities in the United States.


 
UJ and BYU first signed a cooperation agreement in 1994; the agreement was renewed in 2005, 2013 and 2015.
