Joint Conference on Corporate Governance Kicks-off
The international scientific conference "Corporate Governance, Administrative and Economic development in the Institutions: Reality and Aspiration" kicked off today at the University of Jordan (UJ).
 
The Conference is organized jointly by the University of Jordan (UJ) School of Business and the Faculty of Administrative & Economic Sciences at Al-Quds Open University (QOU), Palestine.
 
UJ President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah and QOU President Prof. Younis Amro patronized the Kick-off ceremony.
 
In his remarks, Mahafzah stressed the importance of Corporate Governance as a core pillar in the development agenda and a vital element in achieving development, enhancing transparency, control and economic well-being.

In turn, Amro said the conference stems from our interest in joint research agenda on core common economic issues affecting the life of both, the Palestinian and Jordanian peoples.
 
The 2-day Conference is organized within a series of conferences that focus on topics related Corley to the managerial and economic environment of organizations, and it is organized within a strategic research alliance between QOU and the University of Jordan, and within the broad frame of scientific corporation between the faculty members of Arab universities.
 
The conference deals with a very vital subject that has important reflections on the real status of organizations and their future performance, success and sustainability.
