Lecture on Intelligent Robotics at the School of Engineering

The national program faculty for factory (FFF) organized a lecture at the School of Engineering on intelligent robotics delivered by Prof. Hiroshi Ishiguro from the Osaka University, Japan.

 

During the lecture, Prof. Hiroshi Ishiguro described interactive robots and the purpose of using robots in many aspects of life including education, communication, theaters and large restaurants.

 

He also spoke about his research on humanoid robotics and how he has used it to better understand what it's like to be human.

 

The lecture was attended by UJ President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah, Vice President for Administrative Affairs Prof. Omar Kafawin, Chairman of the Industrial Engineering Department Dr. Mohammad Al-Tahat, faculty members, students, guests from the Japanese Embassy, and students from the Robotics Club at Bunat Al-Ghad School.

 

Prof. Hiroshi Ishiguro is the director of the Intelligent Robotics Laboratory, at Department of Systems Innovation in the Graduate School of Engineering Science at Osaka University.
