President Welcomes New Students, Shares UJ's New Efforts and Aspirations
The University of Jordan (UJ) president, Prof. Abdel karim Al Qudah announced that the University will go through in employing its develop an interactive educational system, to make room for students to interact and participate rather than memorize and be indoctrinated.

According to Al Qudah, the University has adopted programs and projects aimed at advancing the learning process, using approaches supported by modern technology, most notably online and blended learning.

He added, during his meeting with the new students for the current academic year, that the role of teachers has transformed from educators to facilitators. He also encouraged the students to seize the opportunity of their studying at the University to understand and know the personal freedom that leads to advancement, growing, and human interaction, pointing to the fact that UJ's campus is a multicultural space with students from over 70 nationalities. 

Al Qudah answered the students’ questions about many aspects relating to the educational process and the proposal to allocate one month each year to preserve the university environment.  He pointed to the University's determination to find quick solutions to a number of campus problems.

 
In celebration of the new students, the University’s Coral presented a musical concert which included music performances inspired by Jordanian and Arab heritage.

It is worth noting that the new students also met with the deans of the faculties and a number of officials in order to familiarize them with the university's march, programs, teaching plans and future projects as well as the establishment of cultural and intellectual activities and social activities.
