UJIEC Launches Campaign to Inform Students about Services, Activities

The University of Jordan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre (UJIEC) organised a meeting with the new students from the Schools of Medicine, Engineering and Arts as part of a campaign Centre’s to acquaint the student body with the services and activities offered by the Centre. 


The Centre’s Director Dr. Ashraf Bani Mohamed emphasized the Centre’s effective role in supporting the student innovation both logistically and financially. This support is done by cooperating with different sectors that the students need to develop their creative ideas into small businesses or start-ups. During the meeting an introductory video showcasing the Centre’s divisions and services was played and the different success stories, which came about with the support of the Centre.


It is worth mentioning that the UJIEC was founded in 2015, and it contributes in spreading the entrepreneurship thinking and leadership among the University’s students through training, financial and managerial support and cooperation with the private sector, which will contribute in achieving sustainable development, and solidifying the relationship between the University and the job market, private sector and national and international institutes.
