Parliament's Committee on Education and Culture Visits UJ
The Parliament's Committee on Education and Culture visited the University of Jordan (UJ) on Thursday and met with the University's administration.

The visit aims to identify current issues and challenges pertaining to the academic process. This visit comes within the Committee’s approach to discuss legislations related to culture, education, and scientific research.

For their part, the committee’s members praised the University and the quality of programs offered by it. They also reflected on the amount of challenges that are faced due to its status as the largest university in Jordan.

For his part, UJ President Prof. Abdel karim Al Qudah briefed the committee on the University's academic and research efforts. He added that continuous work is being done to elevate the status of the University in three aspects: its global ranking, reputation, and its knowledge-producing capacity.
