Jordanian Mathematics Olympiad Winners Recognized

The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Abdel karim Al Qudah honored a number of UJ students from the Department of Mathematics on winning first place in the third Jordanian Mathematics Olympiad for universities that was held in November at the Hashemite University with the participation of 12 public and private universities in Jordan. 


Al Qudah congratulated the team members Bilal Al Mutbakani, Majd Al Salman, Yazen Musleh and Duaa’ Abd, for this accomplishment. He praised their achievement, which demonstrates their competence in their specialization, commending support and guidance provided by their supervisor and professors.

 

During the honouring, which was attended by Dean of the School of Science Prof. Fuad Kittaneh, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics / Supervisor of Students Dr. Murad Abdul Jabbar Ahmad, Al Qudah stressed the importance of the achievement; "it reveals their scientific skills and talents among their peers," he stated.


The President also emphasized the role of the University in offering support for its students towards more achievements and providing them with the skills they need to be distinguished from their peers in other universities.


For his part, Kittaneh thanked the University’s administration represented by Prof. Al Qudah for its efforts in offering its services for the students, which is positively reflected on the University.
