UJ Scholar Awarded Grant from Newton-Khalidi Fund
Dr. Hussam Khasawneh, a faculty member at the School of Engineering at the University of Jordan (UJ), has been awarded a grant from the Newton-Khalidi Fund /Researcher Links programme to organize a Newton Researcher Links Workshop.
 
Khasawneh will be organizing a workshop entitled "Moving towards low-emission or zero-emission transport sector" in partnership with Birmingham University.
 
The workshop will be attended by nearly 30 Jordanian and British researchers who are interested in sustainable transportation, electric vehicle technology, energy storage and transmission, and fuel cell technology.
 
It's noteworthy that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the British Council, signed a collaboration Agreement for Newton-Khalidi Fund (Researcher Links programme) on Sunday 23 September 2018.
 
The Newton Khalid Fund - Researcher Links Workshops aims to bring together early-career researchers from Jordan and the UK to allow them to make international connections that can improve the quality of their research.
