UJ, Embassy of Panama Discuss Cooperation

The University of Jordan (UJ) and the Embassy of Panama to Jordan discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation.

 

At the meeting held between UJ President Prof. Abdul karim Al-Qudah and the Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to Jordan Thomas Garuda, talks covered means to establish cooperation in the cultural and academic fields between UJ and the Panamanian universities.

 

The ambassador expressed the desire of the Vice President of his country to visit the University and give a lecture to its students during her upcoming visit to the Kingdom.


The Panamanian Embassy was officially inaugurated in Amman on Monday February 25th, ushering for a new level of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

 

The meeting was attended by UJ Vice President Prof. Kifah Jamani and Director of the International Affairs Unit Dr. Hadeel Yaseen.
