Under the Patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein, the 4th International Symposium on Dielectric Materials and Applications (ISyDMA 4) kicked off Thursday at the University of Jordan (UJ).
 
The Conference is held for the first time in Jordan in cooperation with Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) and with the support of the Scientific Research Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

 

The event, which witnessed the participation of 100 scholars from 15 countries, provided an international forum for reporting the recent developments in advanced dielectric materials and applications.

 

It consisted of technical sessions and keynote and tutorial sessions covering several topics in dielectric materials advances.

 

This Conference follows three previous successful conferences: ISyDMA 1 in Morocco in 2016; ISyDMA 2 in Romania in 2017; and ISyDMA 3 in Morocco in 2018.

 

During the three-day conference, 30 specialized working papers and 40 posters will be presented in the fields of theoretical and applied dielectric materials, which are of great importance to human life.

 

A Spring School on Advanced Materials was held on the sideline of the event. The scope of School was to inform students on advanced materials for different applications. The Pre-Conference School was intended for graduate students and junior researchers (PhD students, postdocs).
