UJ Programs Awarded ABET Accreditation

Another bundle of programs offered at the University of Jordan has been awarded the certificate of international accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).


In details, four academic programs offered by the School of Engineering has obtained ABET's international accreditation; the Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechatronics Bachelor Programs are now accredited by ABET.

The School of Science has made a qualitative step by obtaining international accreditation for two Bachelor programs; Physics and Environmental and Applied. The certificates were awarded to the School by the Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission (ANSAC) of ABET.

Furthermore, after obtaining the international accreditation by (ABET) for two programs (Computer Science and Computer Information Systems), the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology was finally able to accredit the third bachelor program offered at the school.  The Business Information Technology bachelor program is now an ABET accredited program.
