A medical workshop on "Essential Pain Management" was organized at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Jordan (UJ) from October 31st till November 2nd.

 

The workshop was prearranged by the Faculty of Medicine and in collaboration with the Jordan Society of Anaesthesia, Intensive care & pain management,  Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), Pan Arab Federation of Societies of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management (PAFSA), and the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA).

 

Held for the first times in Jordan, the short course aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the major aspects of pain management, integrating basic science with clinical application.

 

This Workshop was held with the support of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) and with the participation of pain management experts from UK, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
