University of Jordan, Charles University of Czech Sign Cooperation Agreement

The University of Jordan on Sunday signed an agreement with the Czech Charles University to develop scientific and academic cooperation, including faculty and student exchange, joint research, and conferences, seminars and workshops.

 

The agreement was signed after a visit by a delegation from the Czech University, which included five academics in the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, to discuss various aspects of cooperation and partnership between the two sides, with regard to student exchange, and receiving Czech students to study Arabic at the University of Jordan Language Center (UJLC).

 

In a meeting attended by Czech ambassador to Jordan, Joseph Kotski, President of the University of Jordan, Abdul Karim Qudah, gave a briefing on the university, its establishment, numbers of students, colleges, scientific and research centers.

 

The agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Muhammad Qudah, and his Czech counterpart, Michael Pullman.

 

The Czech delegation said the agreement is a compass that would pave a path full of various aspects of future scientific, academic and research cooperation.
