School of Foreign Languages Recognizes Winners of Korean Language Writing Contest

As part of its mission to promote Korean language and culture and enhance the writing skills of the students of the Korean language program at the University of Jordan (UJ), King Sejong Institute in Amman organized a writing contest in which 33 students took part.

Students Batool Siadat, Zeima Turjuman and Ayah Alaajarmeh won the first three places, respectively, while student Yara Nazzal won the appreciation award.

The students were asked to write two well-developed articles in Korean about either a tourist place in Korea they wish to visit or the attractive aspects of Korea, in addition to an appreciation letter to their parents.

The awards were handed by the Cultural Attaché at the Korean Embassy in Amman in Mook Lim, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages Prof. Yousef Abu Amrieh, and the instructor of Korean language at King Sejong Institute Moon Hwa Cho.
It's worth noting that the Institute will be organizing another speech contest in June.
