Hungarian Cultural Attaché Visits UJ
Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at the University of Jordan (UJ) Professor Yousef Abu Amrieh met with the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Hungary in Amman Regina Surányi and discussed with her avenues to enhance academic and cultural cooperation between the two sides.

During the meeting, Abu Amrieh said that the School has introduced the Hungarian language as part of the undergraduate university electives as of the second semester of the academic year 2020-2021.

In turn, Surányi expressed keenness to strengthening cooperation between the university and higher education institutions in Hungary, lauding UJ's prestigious academic reputation in the region and the world.
 
Surányi also visited the Hungarian corner at the main library, where she met with Dr. Mujahed Thneibat, UJ Library Director, who in turn provided a few brief clarifications about the library's sections, services and activities.
 
The meeting was attended by the Vice-Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages for Quality Assurance, Dr. Marwan Jarrah; Head of the European Languages Department, Dr. Mouhammad Rayyan; and Vice-Dean for International Relations Affairs, Israa Mobaideen.
