Winners of 23rd Scientific Research Award for University Students Recognized

Deputizing for the University of Jordan (UJ) President Dr. Nathir Obeidat, Vice President for International Affairs, Quality and Accreditation Prof. Zaid, Eyadat honored on Tuesday the winners of the 23rd scientific research award for university students in Jordan.


The Award is organized annually by the Middle Eastern Studies Centre (MESC) in cooperation with 4 Universities: the University of Jordan, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Philadelphia University, Zarqa Private University, and Yarmouk University.


Muhammad Abdel-Al, a master’s student at Al-Zaytoonah University, won the third place; Sohaib Al-Bdour, a bachelor student at Yarmouk University, and Yahya Abdel Hakim, a bachelor student at the University of Jordan, won the fourth place, while the first and second places were withheld.


During the ceremony which was attended by the deans of scientific research in the participating universities, Vice President also recognized the participating students, arbitration committee, and the supervising higher committee of the award.


It is worth noting that the Award aims at encouraging high quality research and application of critical thinking to economic, political and intellectual problems faced by the students and their community.
