Hamdi Mango Center Honors Distinguished Researchers Award Winners
The Hamdi Mango Center for Scientific Research (HMCSR) at the University of Jordan (UJ) celebrated, on January 6th, the winners of Ali and Samia Mango Awards for distinguished researchers in Jordan for the year 2020.

The Ali Mango Award for Scientific Fields went to Dr. Saud Al-Thneibat from the Faculty of Engineering at Al Hussein Bin Talal University, while the Ali Mango Award for Health Fields went to Dr. Youssef Khader from the School of Medicine at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, and Dr. Dima Mahmoud Suleiman from the School of Information Technology at Princess University Sumaya for Technology received the award in the postgraduate students category.

As for the Samia Mango Award, it is allocated to distinguished researchers in the scientific, engineering and health faculties, and went to Dr. Dima Sabbah, from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan.

The awards come as an appreciation from the center for distinguished researchers in Jordan and to promote production of academic knowledge. Three awards were allocated for this year: scientific faculties (engineering and agriculture), health faculties (medicine and nursing) and graduate students, and the Samia Mango Award for the distinguished women researcher.
