UJ Professor Featured in Leading Journal

Honorary Professor at the University of Jordan's (UJ) School of Medicine Najwa Khuri-Bulos has been featured in a special article at THE LANCET Infectious Diseases Journal, a leading monthly journal of research and news covering international issues related to infectious diseases specialists worldwide.

 

The article spoke about Dr. Najwa's life, study, and achievements as a distinguished professor of Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases. 

 

Khuri, who contributed to the establishment of the National Vaccination Program, serves as member of COVID control at the Ministry of Health and consultant to the National Center for Security and Crisis Management for COVID 19 control.

 

Khuri earned a B.Sc degree with high distinction from American University of BeirutAUB; MD with distinction also from AUB. She is a holder of the American Board in Pediatrics, and the American Board in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

 

Dr. Najwa was credited for establishing the University’s Pediatric Residency Program, Infection Control Program, and Infectious Disease and Vaccine Center.
