My name is Alvina Faradanyan.  I' am an Armenian student from Yerevan State University where I studied at the Department of Arabic Studies for 3 years. My interest in Arabic Language began when I was a child when I saw for the first time an Arabic show that taught me about the Arabic culture and traditions. At that time it never occurred to my mind that one day I will be able to live in an Arabic country and learn about the Arabic culture.

Armenia is a small but a strong country that has survived many wars and has witnessed a significant progress in education in the last few years.

I was overjoyed when I knew about the study opportunity in Jordan; there is no better place to learn the Arabic language than Jordan.

At the University of Jordan Language Center, I met teachers who are competent and are willing to help their students at all the time. We have lectures for reading, listening, writing, speaking, and Ammiya Arabic (colloquial Arabic). Studying at the Center is a great achievement for me, I 'm so grateful for the Center for the knowledge it has given me. The programs at the Center are excellent and the students are taken to trips to learn about the history and culture, which is a form of education as well.

Studying languages at the University of Jordan is considered the best, and this goes back to the type of teaching staff and the availability of many foreign students who are living the same experience, as well as the opportunity to have a language partner who help us practice and improve our Arabic language.

At the end, I would like to thank the University of Jordan for its effort to provide a suitable environment for the study and exchange of different cultures, and I wish the university continuous progress and prosperity.
