The celebration, organized by Lambda physics group at UJ under the theme : “Light Up with Physics”, was part of the worldwide celebration of the International Year of Light and Light-Based Technologies 2015 (IYL 2015).

The conclusion ceremony of the IYL 2015 activities was attended by the Pakistani Prof. Tasawar Hayat and featured the announcement of the winners of the “Light” Challenge and the launch of the LAMBDA group’s website: http://science.ju.edu.jo/en/lambda/Home.aspx
