International Scientific Conferences Week Concludes at UJ Aqaba

The activities of the International Scientific Conferences Week (2017) concludes at the University of Jordan in Aqaba (UJ Aqaba).
 
The event was organized by UJ Aqaba and the Euro-Arab Organization for Environment, Water and Desert Researches in partnership with the Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS), and with the support of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).
 
The event was held under the theme "With science we build our present and establish for our future".
 
Four important conferences on environment and development were held during the week. The main aim is to enhance the integrated management systems of natural resources, specifically water resources, to achieve sustainable development and utilization of modern and advanced technologies for the better use of integrated management systems.
 
The four conferences are the Geomatics Middle East and North Africa 11th Conference; Fifth International Conference on Planning, Urbanization, and Sustainable Development; International Conference on Ecosystems Services and Integrated Management of Coastal Zone; and the International Conference on Integrated Management of Mining and Arab Mining Industries.
 
More than 600 participants, scholars and academics from 15 Arab and foreign countries participated in the event, with almost 200 papers presented during the week.
